Theory and Aural

Theory

I teach music theory, grades 1-5. For the ABRSM practical exams, you will need a pass in Grade 5 theory in order to be eligible for entry to grades 6-8.

I offer separate theory courses for anyone, no matter what instrument they play.

Aural

Aural skills are an integral part of learning to play a musical instrument or sing and are therefore incorporated into my lessons.

Occasional lessons or short courses may be booked for students of any instrument in preparation for the aural component of music exams.
